Designed for Today. Kept for Generations

Our Story

SVARA started with the jewelry I wanted for my own workdays: fine pieces simple enough to wear every day, solid enough to last, and meaningful enough to keep.

Not pieces saved for special occasions, but ones you put on for a Wednesday meeting and never take off. Jewelry that joins your everyday, marks the milestones, and carries meaning that deepens with time.

SVARA began with a lifetime love of jewelry

My name is Suvarna, founder and designer of SVARA. Four generations of the Nallamalli family were jewelers before me; I am the fifth. Growing up, I learned that a piece of jewelry is never just an object: it's the ring worn for a lifetime, or the chain passed down.

Three generations of the Nallamalli family — the hands this craft passed through before us.

Five generations of jewelry expertise

The craft of fine jewelry has been carried through five generations of the Nallamalli family. My father is the fourth generation; I am the fifth, carrying it forward through SVARA.

That history is the reason every piece is made properly: in solid metal, to be worn every day, resized, repaired, and one day handed down.

Our promise

We work only in solid gold and sterling silver & true vermeil (14k or 18k gold over solid silver, never other materials). Polished, still solid, still yours & still worth its weight in silver and gold.

The value is in the metal, today and always.
